Is Words And Music for you?
I’m hoping to reach a community that has an interest in short form pieces across a broad range of subjects concerning principally words (mainly books) and music (both artists and tunes)
The subjects will be mainly contemporary, but don’t be surprised if I find an interesting topic by delving back a couple of hundred years into a book or a composer’s work
Hopefully you’ll see a diverse, broad and eclectic collection and perhaps the observations and perspectives that I bring might be surprising

I’ve been writing for many years, but never bothered to publish
Now I’ve got a little more time on my hands and this wonderful Substack platform makes it easy to publish, so I’m going for it
Using the web to share what brings a smile to my face and being connect with like minded people is a big part of the motivation
What to expect from Words And Music
Expect occasional pieces, on no specific days
Initially the work will be in written form, with future podcasts so you can hear them on the go; like a mini on-demand radio show segment to listen to in the car or when you’re working out
The goal is to simultaneously release a written piece and it’s companion podcast when I’ve figured out all the technical pieces
